The Office of International Exchange and Cooperation at Yewon Arts University is committed to cultivating globally competent talents and establishing the university as a leading institution in global culture and arts.
By forging sisterhood agreements and collaborative partnerships with prestigious universities, institutions, and cultural organizations worldwide, we strive to promote mutual benefit and equality through various exchange programs.
These include academic exchange, joint performances, student mobility, language exchange, overseas cultural and historical immersion programs, and international language training.
Furthermore, we offer Korean language education and industry-linked programs for international students, and conduct research and development for career programs such as global Hallyu entrepreneurship.
Particular emphasis is placed on building infrastructure for the globalization of the Imsil Campus, managing the recruitment and support of international students, and strengthening the university’s international capabilities through diverse initiatives.

- International Exchange Affairs
- Formulation and implementation of international exchange strategies
- Development and management of global exchange programs
- Establishment of partnerships and agreements with foreign universities and institutions
- Support for student exchanges and long-/short-term overseas dispatch programs
- Administrative support for international academic and faculty exchanges
- Admission and visa-related assistance for international students
- Residency and administrative support for foreign faculty
- Coordination of official visits from overseas delegates
- Selection and management of faculty members for overseas assignments
- Implementation of international academic and cultural exchange initiatives
International Education Affairs
- Production of foreign-language university promotional materials
- Operation of an international information resource center
- Planning and implementation of global education for students and the public
- Korean language and cultural education for overseas Koreans and foreigners
- Development and management of language and international education curricula and facilities
- Administration of language proficiency evaluations (Korean and foreign languages)
- Operation of commissioned international education programs (internal and external)
- Support for research activities related to international education
- Organization of public lectures such as Global Leadership Programs
- Proofreading and translation services

International student management and support
- Recruitment of international students (management and promotion of domestic and international study abroad centers, etc.) Immigration
- support for foreigner entry and registration
- Enrollment (visa issuance) of international students
- Management of international students (counseling, complaint handling, prevention of withdrawal, etc.)
- Reporting to the competent immigration office regarding changes in the original purpose of study, such as withdrawal or non-registration
- Notifying relevant departments of all matters related to selected international students
- Assignment of dormitories (student residence halls) for international students
- Regular counseling for international students and designation and operation of assistants to assist with adaptation to school life
- Support for international student scholarships (admission fees, dormitory fees, tuition, etc.)
- Academic affairs support for international students.
